RG 2006-45. 3 manuscript boxes and 2 volumes. Fish Culture Logs, 1937-1959. Consists primarily of the daily diaries kept by the Conservation staff of the Wolf Lake State Fish Hatchery (1946-1959), located in Mattawan, Michigan. Wolf Lake Fish Hatchery was established in 1927 and renovated in 1983. Also includes documentation about the Oden State Fish Hatchery (1937-1938), located in Alanson, Michigan, and the Marquette State Fish Hatchery (1937-1945), located in Marquette, Michigan. Oden operated from 1921 to 2002. (A completely new complex opened in 2002 in Alanson.) Marquetted was established in 1921 and renovated in 1994. The logs document the weather, the feeding of fish, the delivery of fish to lakes and rivers, the cleaning of ponds, and facility maintenance.
